RacingSkeem was started as a desktop application in 2014 to collect and analyse South African Horse racing data. In 2015 it was ported to a rich-client desktop application but the "Skeems" part (create and run betting scenarios against past results) never made it online due to the load that would have been placed on the server. The desktop version is still available here.

In this 2019+ version, the desktop WPF application has been replaced with a browser-based Single Page Application (SPA).
